CND will be mobilising nationally for a ‘No Nuclear Day’ at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) at London’s Docklands in September. DSEI is one of the world’s biggest arms fairs, with sponsorship and stalls by all the major players in the UK/US nuclear weapons system. As the main site of UK business to business trade with international partners a lot of business with be done around the various subcontracted elements for the Trident renewal program.
The first No Nuclear Day (see report) took place as part of a week of protests to disrupt the setup of the last fair in 2017 organised by Stop the Arms Fair and was a great success. This years will be even bigger as we join with CND and other anti-nuclear groups from across the country on Wednesday 4rd September to take action together.
