Tactics against Trident – Strategy & Training Day (free)

The next two years are crucial for our campaign. The decision whether to replace Trident must be made by 2016, and although the public recognise that spending £100 billion on nuclear weapons is abhorrent, we have to persuade politicians and decision makers of this fact.
We need your help to use this ‘once-in-a-generation’ opportunity to rid the UK of its nuclear weapons.
The morning sessions will be workshops, including media training, introductory campaigning skills, more in-depth campaign skill share, and how to use social media in our campaigns.
The afternoon session will be generating ideas and identifiying priorities regarding how best to use our skills and resources to campaign against Trident in the next 18 months – 2 years. It will also provide an opportunity to meet local groups, or other people in your area with whom to campaign, and to get involved with events and actions.
