Francis Daehoon Lee is touring the UK on behalf of People’s Solidarity for Participatory Democracy, a South Korean NGO, to tell us what Korean people think about the prospects of a denuclearised Korean Peninsula.
He is visiting Menwith Hill US Spy Base to underline the solidarity between the large opposition movement to the many US Bases in South Korea, and those of us opposing US bases in the UK.
Join us at the main gate of Menwith Hill, near Harrogate, from 11am on Saturday 18th May.
We will make a small demonstration and photo opportunity, followed by chance to hear a Korean view on the Trump-Kim talks with Francis Daehoon Lee, and an overview of Menwith Hill with Lindis Percy. Weather permitting we will then do a short walk around the base to Steeplebush gate.
