15th May – Sheffield CND
Vigil in Barkers Pool from 5-6pm on Conscientious Objector’s Day, 15th May. All welcome. Please bring placards, banners, candles etc and wear dark clothing. We will lay a white poppy wreath on the memorial. At 6.30pm there is a meeting at the QMH organised by Quaker Peace Group and WILPF. Poems, songs and stories by local people about their family members and others who refused to fight.
