Remembrance is not enough…

Events are taking place across the region to mark the centenary of the end of the first world world, the war that was meant to end all wars.

November 10th – Leeds – Remembrance is not Enough

Organised by Leeds Justice & Peace Commission have worked with the Leeds Pax Christi Group

A special service of more than just Remembrance on the eve of the centenary of the ‘War to end all wars’. The guest speaker at this service will the Anglican theologian Andrew Shanks.

 

 

November 11th – Songs for Peace – Bradford

 

Our annual event at Bradford Cenotaph (1pm), will this year feature the East Lancs Clarion Choir, members of Silsden Singers and others alongside the songs and wreath laying. After the ceremony the song will continue (alongside hot soup and refreshments) at Glyde House.
