As part of the 40th Anniversary of the Division of Peace Studies celebrations Professor of Peace Studies Paul Rogers will deliver the following lecture;   A Century on the Edge – from Cold War to Hot World, 1945-2045 In the hundred years starting with the nuclear age in 1945, human society has to come to terms with an unprecedented ability to destroy itself and massively damage the global environment. Nearly two-thirds of the way through this century have Cold War nuclear lessons really been learnt and are we gaining sufficient wisdom to learn to live within our world-wide limits?
