On the 75th anniversary of the first atomic test, Bradford campaigners came together to remember all victims of nuclear weapons and show support for the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW). The Treaty was agreed by a majority of world states in 2017 and now has over 80 nations as signatories as well as the support of 100s of towns and cities including Berlin, Paris, Sydney and Washington. We want to see Bradford as the next city to formally show it’s support and call on the UK government to sign up the treaty and work toward a world free from nuclear weapons.
