Dave Knight (RIP)

We have just received the very sad news that Dave Knight died last night as a result of pancreatic cancer.
Many of you may remember Dave as Chair of Yorkshire Region CND for some years before becoming the Chair of the National Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament from 1996 – 2001. He had also recently become involved in our Regional Campaigners Meetings.
Colin Archer and I went to see him just a few weeks ago in Grassington and had a very pleasant lunch despite his rapidly failing health.
Above is a picture taken by Colin near his home in North Yorkshire a few years ago.
We have not yet had details of funeral arrangements.
