Information document:
Bike for Peace will have a bike ride in Northern England from 26. August – 2. September 2022. There will be a group between 6 – 12 people from Norway, plus some from UK. On this tour, we plan to meet with mayors, peace- and bicycle- organizations, climate activists and local government officials.
Our bike route will be as follows: Leeds – Skipton – Carnforth – Preston – Rochdale and Bradford.

Sightseeing on bike in Leeds. Social evening.
27 Aug-Day 2
Meeting with the Lord Mayor 12 noon.
28 Aug- Day 3
Sunday: 12 noon – meeting with supporters at Leeds Quaker Meeting House. incl. Fabian Hamilton MP. Start of the ride from Leeds to Skipton (30 English miles)
29 Aug- Day 4
Bike from Skipton to Carnforth (39 English miles)
30 Aug – Day 5
Bike from Carnforth to Preston (31 English miles)
31Aug- Day 6
Bike from Preston to Blackburn to Rochdale (35 English miles)
1 Sep –Day 7
Bike from Rochdale to Bradford (26 English miles)
Meet Bradford Lord Mayor. 5pm.
2 Sep –Day 8
Sightseeing in Bradford
and fly back from Leeds in the evening to Norway.
(+ Possible extension to Knaresborough and York early Sept. )
