Ernest Rodker is a veteran of many nonviolent direct action campaigns for peace and social justice including:
· Free Vanunu (supporting Mordechai Vanunu who exposed Israel’s nuclear weapons programme)
· Stop the 70 Tour, (Against South African cricket and rugby tours in the UK during the Apartheid period)
· Anti-Poll Tax campaign in the 1980s
· Local campaigns such as resisting the closure of a local school
Ernest will share details of these and other campaigns and speak about how direct action has shaped his life.
