Peace & Craft Fair 2020

The Yorkshire CND fundraiser is back this year on Saturday 28th November 2020 at the beautiful Victoria Hall, Saltaire.  This year will necessarily be slightly different due to COVID-19.  We are beginning to take stall bookings, but are reducing the number of stalls available at this early stage to allow for social distancing.  The event is still several months away, and government guidance is changing all the time, so at this point we can’t say for sure how many stalls we will be able to fit in, whether we’ll need some way of restricting visitor numbers, whether we’ll be able to have our usual live music and children’s  activities.  Even whether we run a cafe is still to be decided, and it may well be cold food only. And of course, any plans we make regarding the fair may be subject to change or cancellation in the event of any second lockdown.

What we’re sure about however, is that we’ll still have a fantastic array of stalls, and we are sure that the fair will remain a popular event on the Bradford calendar, with people wishing to continue to support CND, the other campaigns, and the lovely makers and crafts people.

As a result of having to reduce stall numbers initially, and possibly reducing visitor numbers, we are sorry that we will be unable to offer a reduced rate for campaign/voluntary/charity groups this year. We will be paying the same amount as usual to hire the venue, but possibly with only half or two thirds as many stalls. These groups are more than welcome to book a stall at the normal rate by using the link for crafts below. Or, if you wish to wait until closer to the time, if the guidelines allow us to have the usual number of stalls, we may be able to offer a reduced rate at that point, but obviously with no guarantee.
