Nuclear Power – Dangerous & Unneccessary – Sheffield

9th May 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

We’ll be hosting Mitsuko Sonoda an evacuee from Fukushima who’s written extensively on the continued problems of the nuclear clean-up and lack of government transparency.

Mitsuko Sonoda"" was living in Fukushima with her 8 year-old son at the time of the nuclear disaster and chose to evacuate. Alongside many of Fukushima’s mothers she is working to keep children safe, share information, and convey the reality of living with radiation.

We are delighted to be joined by Keith Barnham an Emeritus Professor of Physics at Imperial College London, an expert in energy systems and an author of “The Burning Answer: A User’s Guide to the Solar Revolution”

The event will be chaired by Dr Jillian Creasy of MEDACT.

Everyone is welcome.
