Hiroshima / Nagasaki 75th Anniversary Commemoration

8 August @ 11:00 am - 11:50 am

75 Years is Enough

Please join us for a commemoration of the nuclear bombings of the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  75 years on, we are still living in the shadow of the bomb. While we gather to remember the lives lost in 1945, and all the people who have suffered from the nuclear legacy since, we must also pledge to work towards a nuclear-free future.

11am, Saturday 8th August 2020, Norfolk Gardens (behind Town Hall), Bradford.

Please note that plans for a procession and cultural event following this commemoration, as in previous years, are cancelled this year due to COVID-19.
We will be adhering to the government guidelines around any gathering that are in place at the time.
