Bradford Guided Peace Trail Walk

7th November 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Peace Studies students and peace activists are invited on a free guided walk highlighting some of the particular peace sites in Bradford.

Led by Peter Nias, former both Peace Studies student and Honorary Visiting Research Fellow, this walk starts on campus and winds its way through the city centre, ending up in the Bradford Peace Museum.

Hear about specific connections with the university, Nobel Peace Prize winners, how the idea of the UN started, as well as the campaigning educational work done by the Peace Museum.   A free booklet will be available.

Meet in the Peace Studies/Development Studies Common Room 2pm Wednesday 7th November.  The walk ends with a visit to The Peace Museum in the city centre (opposite Waterstones bookshop) between 3.30-4pm.

Arranged through the President of the University Peace Society, Richard Outram. (If anyone who is not a Bradford University student wishes to attend and needs directions to the Pemberton Common Room, please email Richard)
